CILS-9100 labels provide permanent bonding to plastic labware

The new-generation CILS-9100 computer printable labels are said to be perfect for vials, microplates and other difficult surfaces. The product range offers a sample ID solution for low energy plastics, providing immediate permanent bonding to all polypropylene, polyethylene, polystyrene and PTFE labware.

Computer printable via a standard laser or thermal transfer printer, variable data (batch numbers, barcodes etc) can be added to the labels in-lab ‘in minutes’, eliminating the problems arising from smudged or illegible handwritten data. The Worthing, West Sussex, UK-based firm says they are also suitable for on-demand or mass batch label printing.

A unique CILS-9100 computer printable coating is said to ensure maximum print protection against extreme temperatures (-196°C), laboratory solvents (Xylene, DMSO, Ethanol, THF, etc.) and sterilisation processes without secondary laminates or tape.
