Low-maintenance DoD UV inkjet digital printing reliably delivers a high-quality image with Asian fonts

Atlantic Zeiser will be presenting its Digiline Blister, which executes variable print orders for blister lid foil printing at Interpack (Hall 16 / A47).

Its performance profile is based on a low-maintenance digital printing system with high-performance UV-curable inks.

To start a new print job on the Digiline Blister, the operator selects a recipe to load a new PDF. The changeover is accomplished within two minutes.

With a conventional flexo printing system, it takes about an hour on average, claim the company.

The UV-A lamps for the Digiline Blister's DoD inkjet printing system are based on LED technology and last more than ten times longer than the UV-C curing lamps used in flexography.

The inkjets are contactless, greatly increasing their service life. The costs of flexo print mats and the associated input for their installation/removal are also eliminated.

DoD UV inkjet digital printing is designed to print a resilient image on a highly diverse range of surfaces.

The secret, says the company, lies in regulating the quantity of dispensed ink according to the material that is being printed.

Digiline Blister is capable of faithfully reproducing even Asian scripts due to a native PDF resolution of 600x600dpi and an original PDF RIP process.

All-in-one system

Digiline Blister is an all-in-one system. Images and codes are easily uploaded to the system without any additional software or an external computer, which greatly simplifies both integration and operation.

Digiline Blister is also compatible with Atlantic Zeiser's serialisation software MedTracker, which can also be used as a data management platform.

Digiline Blister can also be implemented as an inline or nearline solution.
