Both the organisers and participants agree that the open days in the Track & Trace Academy were a great success

Under the motto 'All you need for EU FMD compliance', representatives from the international pharmaceutical group and a select number of serialisation experts came together at the Laetus Track & Trace Academy in Bensheim on 22-23 April. Both the organisers and participants agree that the open days in the Track & Trace Academy were a great success.

In the next few years, the pharmaceuticals industry will be faced with the challenge of modifying its production processes in line with the Falsified Medicines Directive. 'Our aim was to support participants in this process by providing a wide range of information and practical examples,' says Christoph Staub, CEO of Laetus. 'The Academy offers the perfect setting to acquire knowledge, ask questions and develop expertise.'

A unique link between theory and practice was created thanks to the broad variety of current topics and practical examples, informative demo training sessions and live demonstrations in the showroom. In view of the attendance figure and numerous contributions to discussions as well as questions, it was clear that there was a strong need for information on this matter.

The open days proved to be a coherent demonstration of the Academy's stated mission: acting as a unique, independent platform for the exchange of specialist knowledge across different sectors and manufacturers and individual qualification.
