Syrris has established a Brazilian subsidiary in Sao Paulo, which will enable the company to provide direct support to its Latin American customers.

Chemistry automation product supplier Syrris has established a Brazilian subsidiary in Sao Paulo, which will enable the company to provide direct support to its Latin American customers.

"Establishing a subsidiary office in Brazil not only reflects the increasing interest in our product range worldwide, but more specifically the increased requirement for our complete product range within the Brazilian and Latin American research and development chemistry industry," said Mike Hawes, chief executive of Syrris.

The company has appointed Leandro Nogueira, as its regional manager for Brazil. He is a polymer chemistry engineer with ten years" experience of supplying high technology systems to the pharmaceutical and chemical industries.

Syrris now has a global network of 30 distributors and subsidiaries in the US, Japan, India and Brazil. Its headquarters are in Royston, UK.
