The Sepiatec Prep SFC 100 system is a compact and fully integrated benchtop unit with many innovative features, designed and developed in Germany specifically for preparative separations using the technology of Super-Critical Fluid Chromotography (SFC). The innovative design comprises pumps, column oven, detector, fraction collection and PC, but still allows easy access for routine maintenance and servicing. Dimensions; 700mm x 600mm x 880mm (W x D x H).
Max CO2 flow rate 100ml/min, max pump pressure 400 bar, max column I.D 3cm
With built-in 10 inch touchscreen, the control software includes stack injection and peak detection. New users can learn the software in as little as 20 minutes.
The Sepiatec Prep SFC 100 provides recoveries of 97-99%
New, safe, cyclone technology is used in the gas-liquid separation for good recovery of sample in the modifier solvent, with easy visual control of the C02 gas waste line. Unlimited fraction volumes with a variety of sizes. Can collect up to 8 fractions plus one waste, against industry standard of 7.
Sepiatec SFC systems use a ceramic orifice stamp valve, giving longer life and better erosion resistance than stainless steel.
Fractions can be collected directly into Genevac flasks and rapidly dried in the Rocket parallel evaporator. This saves operators time by avoiding the need to reformat samples, whilst improving compound recovery at the same time.
The largest Pharma companies in the world work with Sepiatec products, including Bayer Healthcare, Novartis, Roche, Astra Zeneca, Boehringer Ingelheim, Lilly Reseach, Merck and WuxiAppTec.
The 30ml Prep SFC Basic, and 360ml Prep SFC 360 systems are also available.
There are 8 channel parallel HPLC/SFC systems (Sepmatix range) available for rapid method development and compound isolation systems (Sepbox range) for automated purification of compounds from natural sources.
