3M publishes safety data on pressurised meter dose inhalers

3M offers a full range of feasibility, development and manufacturing capabilities to help bring products to market, such as the 3M intelligent inhaler

Published in The British Pharmacological Society 3M tested the systemic pharmacodynamic effects of the salmeterol component of two pressurised metered dose inhalers that delivered a combination of salmeterol and fluticasone propionate (SM/FP).

The paper reports on the results of the safety equivalence study that was pivotal in the approval of a new SM/FP inhalation product.
