Elfab, a UK-based manufacturer of rupture discs, bursting panels and associated detection devices, has appointed Russell Trotter as Business Development Director for all products and markets worldwide.
Trotter has 14 years of mechanical and electronic B2B experience. He originally joined Elfab in 2000 as Operations Director and was instrumental in the design and development of new pressure relief products, including Elfab’s Opti-Gard reverse-acting rupture discs, and its non-intrusive rupture disc detection system, Flo-Tel.
After seven years, Trotter moved to sister company Texecom, an electronics design and manufacturing business in the intruder alarm system industry, where he was responsible for all manufacturing, procurement, quality and process engineering. While at Texecom, Trotter took on the role of Business Development Director for the Klaxon Wide Area signalling brand, contributing to substantial growth and gaining significant sales and marketing experience.
Elfab plans to grow significantly over the next few years, further penetrating its existing markets, as well as developing sales in new territories including the Middle East, Africa and Russia. Trotter will spearhead this expansion.
