Omega Fluor features:

  • A UV-safety switch, auto UV-shutoff and a UV-blocking viewport
  • A 5 megapixel camera with focus free lens, capable of producing 24 x 20cm image
  • A single wavelength UV transilluminator, fully integrated into a light-tight cabinet, an alternative to separate modular hoods placed on top of light boxes.

Omega Fluor is capable of working with UV and white light illumination across an extensive list of dyes which includes SYBR Safe, SYBR family, Ethidium Bromide, Coomassie Blue, Silver Stain, AdvanStain Scarlet, SYPRO Ruby and Oriole.

“The Omega Fluor is one of our most popular models. Its small size, low price and good performance make it a ‘must-have’ imager for many laboratories,” claim Aplegen.

The system is operable on any computer, tablet or laptop.
