APCER Life Sciences, the truly global provider of safety, medical, regulatory, and technology services, today announced Kunwar B. Kishore Arora as the company’s first Global Chief Operating Officer. Kunwar will also serve as the Chief Executive Officer of APCER India.

In his role at APCER Life Sciences, Kunwar will bring together all global functions, including client-facing activities, operations, technology, quality, and talent, to accelerate APCER's growth in capabilities, efficiencies, and competitiveness worldwide. He will also head APCER’s India business unit as CEO to focus on the tremendous need for specialised safety and regulatory services throughout Asia.

Kunwar has three decades of success in challenging and diverse assignments, beginning his career as a Regional Manager with Voltas in India, then moving to head Colgate Palmolive to start and scale up operations in Nigeria. Recognised as a leader in building sales and operational teams, Kunwar moved to the US in 2000 and was appointed Vice President at UCA Services, now Mphasis – a dynamic, India-based technology services company with more than three-quarters of its revenues generated in the US and now majority-owned by The Blackstone Group. During his six-year tenure, he established strategic alliances with IBM, Cisco, AT&T, and other technology giants and played a pivotal role in acquiring and managing multimillion dollar contracts. He was recognised with a Gartner Vision award in 2005 for outstanding leadership and contribution to the success of the information technology industry.
Kunwar returned to India in 2008 to start up the Data Center & Managed Services business unit of Bharti Airtel, now the fourth largest mobile communications company in the world. Within three years as Senior Vice President, he created a business entity valued at over half a billion dollars and gained ISO 20000:1 compliance. Kunwar’s dedication to client service was recognised in September 2011, when Airtel’s topped the PC Quest Users’ Choice awards.
Kunwar joins APCER Life Sciences from NIIT Technologies, where he served as Global Head and Senior Vice President for Infrastructure Management Services. He expanded business in the US, Europe, and Asia, doubling revenues in three years. Prior to that, he was Country Manager for NCR Services, winning record-setting contracts and strengthening client support services.
Kunwar earned a Master of Business Administration from Gujarat University and a Bachelor of Science from Punjab University. He continually enhanced his technical and leadership skills, earning certifications from George Washington University, New York University and Baruch College, City University of New York. He is a citizen of Canada and a permanent resident of the United States, has lived in four countries, and travels extensively throughout the world.
