Lonza announces head of Lonza Bioscience

Takes over the position next month

As of 1 June, Lukas Utiger, currently chief operating officer of Lonza Life Science Ingredients, will become COO of Lonza Bioscience, located in Walkersville, Maryland, US. He will replace Anja Fiedler who has resigned for personal health reasons.

Stefan Borgas, chief executive, will take over the leadership of the Life Science Ingredients business in addition to his current responsibilities for the next few months until a successor has been recruited.
