Crewe, UK-based printed carton and leaflet manufacturer Medica Packaging says Nick Geary has joined the company’s Business Development team, underscoring its commitment to the pharmaceutical and healthcare sectors.
Geary has more than 10 years’ experience in the pharmaceutical industry, including most recently as Global Business Development Director for French company Emball’iso, which specialises in temperature-controlled packaging. He will be using his industry knowledge to help expand Medica’s pharmaceutical customer base.
Medica’s CEO John Bath said: 'Nick’s experience in this sector provides us with a major opportunity to develop our customer base with the niche services we offer. His appointment reflects our commitment to growth in the specialist markets we serve, and we welcome Nick to the team.'
Medica Packaging separated from the Benson Group in 2014 when it became an independent provider of medical packaging owned by a group of private individuals and managed by London-based private equity company Sullivan Street Partners.
