Whether dealing with the most potent compounds or ensuring the highest sterility, glove integrity is of prime importance to ensure safe processing within barrier technology. A defective glove can pose a major risk to the product or the operator, and with the increased use of RABS and isolators it’s becoming critical to ensure gloves are inspected and tested thoroughly before use.

The AUSTAR glove port tester is safe and easy to use and free of wires or tubes, enabling quick, efficient testing. Automated and developed for multiple glove types, Austar can offer superior hole detection while maintaining short measurement times.

The tester offers reliable in-situ cGMP testing without jeopardising glove integrity by removal or manipulation. It allows for 100% mobility in the lightweight system. A digital display shows the pressure gauge, battery status, measurement information and results. Easily cleaned and sterilised, the device is IP64 certified with a replaceable filter for air intake. Electronically controlled clamping and sealing of the glove port is possible with a pneumatic inflatable seal.

The tester can be customised to requirements in size and shape and testing requirements, so AUSTAR can provide a solution to suit your existing gloves.
