Allergan, the manufacturer of Botox and skin care brand Clinique have unveiled their joint venture, Clinique Medical in the US.


Allergan, the manufacturer of Botox and skin care brand Clinique have unveiled their joint venture, Clinique Medical in the US.

The new skin care line is said to be scientifically designed and clinically proven to complement select in-office cosmetic procedures and is only available through skin care physicians’ offices.

The line uses patent-pending probiotic technology that helps prepare, support and maintain the skin pre and post treatment. According to the two companies, the line can significantly reduce the appearance of redness and irritation commonly associated with IPL treatments and 30% TCA chemical peels.

Products in the range include a Probiotic Cleanser, Skin Conditioning Treatment, Recovery Week Complex, Optimising Treatment Cream and Daily SPF38. In addition a Dry Spot Balm, created to alleviate severe dryness and discomfort on the lips and face, is also available.
