Anton Paar has opened a Colombian subsidiary in a move to strengthen sales and service in South America. The US-based company specialises in laboratory instruments as well as process measuring systems and custom-tailored automation and robotics solutions.
In addition to an existing location in Brazil, Colombia is now the company’s second South American subsidiary. Some of the reasons for the opening of Anton Paar's newest sales location are to ensure immediate presence, improve sales and service, strengthen customer relations.
"With Anton Paar Colombia we offer our customers highly trained sales and service staff directly on site. In Colombia, we can expect a high potential in the beverage and food industry, petrochemicals and science. We will concentrate on these fields in order to gain market share in Colombia and also in Panama," said Friedrich Santner, CEO of Anton Paar.
The new site is located in the Colombian capital Bogotà, covering 280 sqm. The new site will support the company's existing distribution partners in Central and South America.
