A new optimised metering valve for pressurised dose inhalers

Aptar Pharma is unveiling its latest innovation, the DF30Plus optimised metering valve for hydrofluoralkanes pressurised Metered Dose Inhalers (HFA pMDIs), this week in Edinburgh, Scotland.

Aptar Pharma is a leader in aerosol metering valves for pMDIs for the treatment of asthma and COPD, which have been selected by major branded pharmaceutical companies and generic producers across the globe.

The company says the new optimised DF30Plus offers several key benefits, including better compatibility across a wider range of drug formulations, including ethanol-containing formulations. It has also been designed to be cost-effective, offers an ultra low extractible level and an accurate and consistent performance, as well as an excellent pressure filling capability.
