This three-day course will on Day One offer an introduction to biotechnology and molecular biology, look at the re-expression of proteins, the development of production organisms and fermentation technology and large-scale production.
Day Two will cover process optimisation and scale-up, analysis of biopharmaceuticals, product recovery and purification, formulation design of biopharmaceuticals and process economics.
The focus of Day Three will be patenting biotech inventions and include a patent workshop, as well as looking at regulatory considerations and future developments.
