Catalent adds potent drug capabilities at Schorndorf
Catalent Pharma Solutions, a global provider of outsourced dose form manufacturing and packaging to the pharmaceutical industry, has expanded its capabilities at its Schorndorf, Germany site to include a new potent products area.
Catalent Pharma Solutions, a global provider of outsourced dose form manufacturing and packaging to the pharmaceutical industry, has expanded its capabilities at its Schorndorf, Germany site to include a new potent products area.
Catalent is now able to provide customers with complex and innovative dose form production, over-encapsulation and packaging for potent products from the site.
For nearly 50 years, Catalent's Schorndorf operation has provided a broad range of services to pharmaceutical customers. In 2009, the facility successfully completed an FDA inspection adding to a long track record of regulatory compliance, including German and other EU and international regulatory authorities.
"We believe the addition of this new potent handling and over-encapsulation area will help to meet the needs of our customers, both global and local," said Eric Schmidhaeuser, md of the Schorndorf operation.
