A range of high quality, straight-sided thick walled jars has been launched by UK-based Measom Freer to complement the company's existing range of thin-walled containers. The new jars are available from stock in 25, 50 and 100ml sizes and are suitable for solids, creams, liquids, powders and gels.
Manufactured from food-grade polystyrene, the jars offer glass-like clarity as well as being lightweight and shatter-resistant. Colours and other materials, such as SAN, are available to order, while the shape makes them easy to handle and to print.
The necks are a standard European R3 fitting, suitable for a range of closures that can also be supplied by Measom Freer. In addition, the company can offer other items including scoops, measures, boxes, rigid tubes, fasteners, spatulas and spoons to meet a full range of pharmaceutical and laboratory use.
