Clondalkin appoints business development manager

Aims to expand packaging business in pharma sector

The Specialist Packaging Division of printing firm Clondalkin Group has appointed Paul Peach as business development manager to support its growth strategy in the pharmaceuticals and healthcare sectors.

Peach brings with him more than 15 years’ experience in these industries, having worked for packaging companies including Denny Bros and Gerresheimer.

In his new role, Peach will focus on expanding Clondalkin Group’s label business for its Ditone and Harlands Labels plants in Kimbolton and Hull. He will also work closely with the Group’s European pharmaceutical operating companies.

In addition, Peach will develop packaging solutions for the generic and clinical trials markets, and the biotech, diagnostic and medical device markets.

‘In the pharmaceutical markets, reputation and risk-minimisation are of paramount importance,’ said Peach. ‘We have the packaging solutions that the market demands and we have ambitious development plans. I am looking forward to contributing my skills and expertise to build successful long-term relationships with our clients to ensure we continue to be a leader in this field.’

Clondalkin Group Specialist Packaging Division specialises in cartons, labels, leaflets and inserts, and has approximately 20 manufacturing sites in the UK, the Netherlands, Spain, Poland, the US and Puerto Rico and Ireland.
