Cytovance Biologics has appointed Seth Fisher as Director of Purification Development in the R&D Services group.
Fisher has more than 20 years' experience in research, process development, scale-up and manufacture of complex biologics for biotech companies, including big pharma and contract biomanufacturing.
As a trained protein biochemist, Fisher has focused most of his career on supporting discovery pipelines working on the purification of proteins for several clinical areas including cancer, autoimmune diseases, inflammatory diseases and infectious diseases. His industry experience includes positions at Amgen (Thousand Oaks), GSK (SmithKline Beecham Pharmaceuticals), Peregrine Pharmaceuticals, and Avid/Stamford Bioprocessing.
