Dinesh Paliwal joins Board of Directors at Bristol-Myers Squibb

He will serve as a member of the Committee on Directors and Corporate Governance

Bristol-Myers Squibb has elected Dinesh Paliwal to its Board of Directors. He will serve as a member of the Committee on Directors and Corporate Governance.

Paliwal is currently the Chairman, President and Chief Executive of Harman International Industries, a provider of audio and infotainment systems for the automotive, consumer and professional markets, a position he has held since 2008. He was Harman’s President and Chief Executive from 2007 to 2008.

Prior to joining Harman, Paliwal spent 22 years with ABB Group, where he last held the dual role of President, Global Markets and Technologies of ABB Ltd and Chairman and Chief Executive of ABB North America. Paliwal serves on the board of ADT Corporation and has previously served as Chairman of the US National Foreign Trade Council.
