Gelest, a US supplier of compounds, has appointed Indian firm Gautavik International as the exclusive distributor of its silane, metal-organic and silicone products for advanced technology applications in the pharmaceuticals, biosciences, dental and medical devices sectors.

Gelest says it is experiencing a worldwide increase in demand in specialist applications and India continues to be a high-growth market.

Gautavik International, based in Mumbai, serves the high-technology sectors in India through established logistics and a technically trained staff with the ability to service diverse customer requirements.
