Informex India 2011 to focus on specialist chemicals

Informex India 2011 takes place from 22–23 September at the Holiday Inn Mumbai International Airport in Mumbai.
The two-day event, organised by UBM Live, will focus on specialist and performance chemicals in the Indian and global markets and will offer visitors an insight into domestic and global market dynamics, as well as the latest advances in specialist chemicals.
The sessions will feature a line-up of high-level speakers from SRI Consulting, BASF, Structwel Consultants, United Phosphorus, Bayer Material Science, Asian Paints and Thermaz India.
‘The intensive two-day forum has been tailored to cover the most current and relevant topics in the domestic Indian and global markets. Focus areas of the sessions include key topics such as government policy, growth potential in this market, green strategy and export specifics,’ said Jennifer Jessup, global brand director for Informex.

Informex India 2011 will open with a keynote address outlining the latest government incentives and initiatives to support the development and growth of the Indian specialist chemical industry.
The event will then offer a comprehensive programme, themed for each day.
The theme of 22 September is: ‘Unveiling strategies to capitalise effectively on the key domestic and global opportunities in the specialist chemical market’.
The theme of 23 September is: ‘Innovation Showcase: Practical insights into the latest specialist chemical developments across the leading application industries’.
Roundtable discussions hosted by key players in the industry will complement these sessions, as well as innovation hotspots to showcase the latest developments in specialist chemicals.
