Neopac, a manufacturer of metal and plastic packaging for the pharma, cosmetics and FMCG sectors, is presenting its AirShield tube and other products at booth no. 2K37 at CPhI this week.
AirShield contains a new two-part valve in the tube head which functions as a special protective shield by reliably safeguardinging the contents from oxygen. The valve opens when the tube is squeezed and closes again when the pressure is released, which stops air flowing back into the sensitive contents.
The Swiss company says AirShield is suitable for oxygen-sensitive contents, for dermatological products and for chemical/technical applications. The products maintain their consistency and effectiveness even after the packaging has been opened and after daily use.
