Linx Printing Technology appoints new Managing Director

Nigel Hood joins the coding and marking firm from Hach replacing the outgoing Jennifer Honeycutt

Linx Printing Technologies, a global provider of coding and marking equipment headquartered in the UK, has appointed Nigel Hood as Managing Director.

Hood joins the St Ives, Cambridgeshire-based company from Hach, where he was most recently Business Unit Director for the Particle Counting business. Hach, in common with Linx Printing Technologies, is part of the Danaher Group, which Hood joined in 2002 following its acquisition of Orbisphere, where he was VP Sales and Marketing.

Hood replaces the outgoing Linx Managing Director Jennifer Honeycutt, who has been appointed President at Beckman Coulter Life Sciences.

Hood began his working career with ELE International UK in various commercial leadership roles before becoming Managing Director at GLI International UK.

He said: ‘Having worked outside the UK for 14 years I am excited about the challenge of returning home, to a business where I look forward to building on a strong track record of global growth at the forefront of coding and marking innovation.’
