Available in the UK from Labtex, Nutsche filter-dryers are used worldwide to separate liquids and solids in industries such as pharmaceuticals, biomaterials, electronics, fine speciality chemicals and many others.
These units enable processes such as solids filtering, washing, reslurrying and drying to be done in a single vessel, saving time and minimising operator exposure. Nutsche products are available in laboratory, pilot plant and production scale, in volumes from 0.2–1000 L. Available products include:
- Benchtop filter dryers: Smaller lab-scale units provide chemists and researchers with a powerful tool for testing, piloting and small scale processing.
- Standard benchtop units: Available with a 6-inch diameter and a choice of 3, 4 or 5 L volumes.
- Custom benchtop items: Offered smaller sizes — down to a diameter of just 3 inches and a volume of 0.2 L — these products can also be designed with custom stands, funnel heads, instrumentation, heating/cooling circulators, alternate alloys and coatings, pumps, etc.
- Pilot plant and custom filter dryers: Larger items are available in volumes from 10–1000 L.
