Oliver-Tolas Healthcare Packaging acquires Mangar Medical Packaging

Mangar Medical Packaging provides pouches, die-cut lids and mounting cards for use in sterile barrier packaging


Oliver Products, the parent company of Oliver-Tolas Healthcare Packaging, has acquired Mangar Medical Packaging to broaden its product range.

No financial details were revealed.

Mangar Medical Packaging provides medical device manufacturers with pouches, die-cut lids and mounting cards for use in sterile barrier packaging. The firm has served medical device manufacturers since 1986 from operations in New Britain, PA, US.

Jerry Bennish, President and CEO of Oliver-Tolas, said Mangar Medical Packaging has a history of providing innovative, cost effective, high quality packaging.

'Our strategy is to leverage Mangar knowhow and capabilities with the Oliver-Tolas global footprint and ongoing investment capacity. An immediate benefit to customers will be a broader product offering and enhanced technical capabilities,' Bennish said.

Sales, customer service, technical service and production at Mangar and Oliver-Tolas sites will continue with no immediate changes. The companies will work together to develop long-term plans focused on enhancing the products and services available to customers.

Headquartered in Grand Rapids, MI, Oliver-Tolas has manufacturing operations in Feasterville, PA; Hamilton, OH; Venray, the Netherlands and Suzhou, China and sales offices throughout the US, Europe and China.
