PSL APAC’s (Asia-Pacific) growing team will join Vaibhav Dalvi, PSL India Sales Manager, on Stand F50 at PMEC in Mumbai next month.
To reinforce its strong presence in Asia, PSL is opening a new branch office in Singapore. This addition to PSL APAC will support the fast-growing activities coming from South East Asia, South Korea, Japan, India and the Middle-East. For the last three years, more than a third of PSL's orders have come from the Asia region. Recognising the need for further support locally, PSL is opening an engineering and sales office in Singapore.
Pierre Landais, PSL Asia-Pacific Tendering Manager will be joined by Jun-Kai Ooi, PSL Singapore Support Engineer, alongside Dalvi, to present and showcase PSL’s technologies to the large crowd expected to visit the exhibition.
PSL will demonstrate its process development and scale-up technologies during the show with process equipment on display such as the Lab GFD, which is designed for filtration and drying of API or polymeric microsphere drug delivery devices during feasibility studies and R&D.
The GFD allows a direct scale up from trial studies to pilot plant and commercial production with the award-winning MicroSphere Refiner technology.
This is an innovative system allowing filtration under pressure, washing, drying under vacuum and sterile harvesting of microspheres. The PSL team will demonstrate this ground-breaking technology on the stand in the form of a replica of the small-scale production Microsphere Refiner.
PSL will also exhibit a new product, part of the testing and validation of high containment systems.
This Glove Integrity Testing device tests and validates the glove integrity of high containment isolators and gloveboxes. It provides a quick, safe and easy method to test fitted pharmaceutical gloves.
PSL's testing devices provide manual to fully automated measurement with Wi-Fi remote control and RFiD built-in technology. They are customisable in size and shape, tailored to any glove material and detection requirements. Holes smaller than 100μm can be detected while maintaining short measurement times. Live demonstrations will be held at PMEC India 2015.
PSL's containment solutions comprise a full range of glove boxes and isolators enabling users to safely perform the following operations: dispensing and sampling, reactor charging, filtration, drying, vessel offloading and drum filling, milling and micronising, sieving, blending, tablet press and capsule filling.
