Global CDMO Recipharm has announced the completion of an analytical laboratory at its facility in Bengaluru, India.
The 370 sqm area is cGMP compliant and equipped with technology and instruments to cater for rising demand for the company’s stand-alone analytical solutions.
The company’s analytical solutions are designed to provide customers timely, reliable outsourced support for analytical services from concept to commercial. The laboratory will accommodate 40 scientists and will bolster the team’s capacity to support additional projects.
Ramesh Jagadeesan, Assistant VP said: “It’s great to be able to announce the inauguration of our new analytical laboratory under Recipharm Analytical Solutions. Despite all the challenges the pandemic has presented, our team has worked diligently to complete the project and ensure the laboratory is operational, on time.”

Recipharm has also appointed Manivel Thangapragasam as Associate Director to lead the laboratory. Manivel brings 21 years of experience in the field of analytical development and stability studies. Commenting on the appointment he said: “I’m delighted to join the Recipharm team. Recipharm provides high quality analytical programmes and flexible capacity to customers when they need it. Given the speed the market is moving, it is clear that the demand for such services is on the rise.”
The new lab has been in full operation since August 2021.
