Chiltern, a global contract research organisation, has named Richard Pilnik as Chairman. In 2015, he joined the Chiltern board of directors and the firm says he has made significant contributions to the company’s strategy and future direction.
Pilnik replaces Nick Thornton, the current Chairman.
Prior to joining Chiltern, Pilnik was an Executive Vice President at Quintiles and President of its Commercial Solutions division.
He also held several positions at Eli Lilly, including Group Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer; President, Europe, Middle East and Africa; and Area Vice President of Latin America and Canada.
