Takeda makes two promotions

Ken Araki and Kouji Iwasaki take up their new roles on 1 January

Japanese pharmaceutical firm Takeda has made two promotions and has established a new Strategic Medical Research Planning division at its Japan Development Centre within the Pharmaceutical Development Division.

Ken Araki, previously senior director in the Corporate Strategy & Planning Department, will become vice president of Global Licensing & Business Development on 1 January 2012.

Meanwhile, Kouji Iwasaki, previously director of Post Market Surveillance, Pharmacovigilance Department within the Pharmaceutical Development Division, will become director of the Strategic Medical Planning division on the same day.
