Thermo Scientific 4D dry calibration beads optimise airborne particle counters

For compliance with ISO 21501-4

Instrument manufacturers, as well as QA/QC managers in pharmaceutical and electronics manufacturing are being offered a new series of dry reference beads for calibrating airborne particle counters (APCs) that need to comply with ISO 21501-4 regulations.

To accomplish this, the Thermo Scientific 4D Duke Standards beads feature a calibration uncertainty – the range of values within which the actual mean diameter will lie – that is less than or equal to 2.5% of the mean diameter. The diameter is traceable to the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), and the product’s Certificate of Calibration and Traceability provides the documentation needed for QC/regulatory programs and audits.

Available in 3µm, 5µm, 7µm and 10µm diameters, these dry polymer beads are suitable for manufacturers, service providers and end-users of APCs working to the ISO standard in the pharmaceutical, healthcare and biotech industries.

The 4D Series is packaged in dropper-tipped bottles to allow direct dispensing of the beads into the sampling chamber of the APC.
