NJM Packaging’s Cremer CF-622 FS tablet counter features a new concept in counting based on a modular design, servo driven and servo controlled vibrators and memory flaps, combined with state-of-the-art technology and simple operating procedures.
The US firm says the machine is designed to meet the pharmaceutical industry’s needs for efficient, high output and reliable tablet counting.
The Cremer CF-622 FS consists of a main frame with fixed side panels that accommodate two or three counting modules. Each module has six channels that are 22mm wide.
Dan Lapierre, vice president of NJM Packaging, said: ‘The Cremer CF-622 FS tablet counter has proven 100% accuracy with guaranteed outputs up to 150bpm, based on 100-count bottles. The actual speed depends on the bottle neck and product flow as well as the overall shape and size of the product.’
The firm says the simplicity of the machine’s design allows the operator to accomplish fast changeovers with repeatable set-ups, without needing any tools. With removable modules, the machine simplifies cleaning and reduces maintenance costs. The design also eases operation by having limited settings on the machine interface.
