Brand of ProMach, Pharmaworks, has announced the appointment of Nathan Allen to the position of Vice President and General Manager. Allen is responsible for leading the Pharmaworks organisation, including the strategies that bring their high-performance blister packaging systems to pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, animal health, medical device and consumer goods manufacturers and contract packers.

“Our customers’ requirements are getting more complex and varied, with an increasing focus on performance and flexibility. In this landscape, they look for world-class equipment that can support their current products and packages at a high level but can also effectively adapt as requirements change over time,” said Tom McDaniel, President of ProMach Pharma Solutions.

McDaniel continued: “Nathan, with his proven track record of building world-class teams in an OEM environment, is an excellent fit to lead Pharmaworks. His background and leadership experience complement the customer-centric culture and expanding market opportunities.”

Allen brings nearly 20 years of experience in equipment sales, including pharmaceutical and packaging machinery. Most recently, he was Vice President of Sales – Food and Healthcare Technologies at GEA Group. Previously, he was Technical Sales Account Manager at Wyoming Machine Inc. and, prior to that, Equipment Sales Manager at Powder-Solutions Group. Allen holds a bachelor’s degree in marketing from Drake University.

"This is an exciting time at Pharmaworks. Drawing on our decades as a leader in blister packaging, we now also collaborate with other ProMach brands to take our product portfolio to the next level, including fully-integrated, turnkey systems with single-source responsibility,” said Allen. “Pharmaworks has a really bright future, and our team is eager to develop more ways to help manufacturers and packers address their production challenges and improve their operational efficiencies.”

Ben Brower, the previous General Manager and one of Pharmaworks’ founders, remains with the organisation as VP of Sales Support.
