Two global biopharma firms deploy ePharmaSolutions’ Clinical Trial Portal

A global pharmaceutical company has deployed ePharmaSolutions’ enterprise level Clinical Trial Portal (CTP) on more than 900 clinical studies in 90 countries.

A second client will start using the service next month.

ePharmaSolutions says CTPs help streamline and accelerate the clinical development process by providing a common technology platform from which to conduct trials. This reduces time and costs while simplifying the process for study teams and site users.

‘We are seeing more of our sponsors and CRO partners migrate from single study workspaces to enterprise CTP deployments this year than ever,’ said Lance Converse, ePharmaSolutions' founder and ceo.

‘Enterprise deployments of the CTP help force the standardisation of business processes across the clinical development lifecycle, while reducing cost and accelerating timelines,’ he added.

ePharmaSolutions' CTP is currently used by more than 235,000 users in 120 countries.

Enterprise deployments typically include integrations with the clients' CTMS, EDC and IXRS systems, which can significantly reduce the amount of data entry required across the various systems used to conduct trials, said Steven Beales, ePharmaSolutions’ vice president of Information Technology.

The integrations allow the study teams to add or edit a user in the CTP and authenticate that change to all of the systems used in the study, eliminating redundant manual data entry and multiple account registrations forms, he added.
