Wiped-film stills and wiped-film evaporators enable separation of volatile and less-volatile components with a gentle process that utilises the thin-film wiping action of feed liquid through a heated cylindrical vacuum chamber.
POPE distillation and evaporation devices enable a superior process, especially where heat-sensitivity is a key factor, due to the short residence time of the feed liquid, significantly lowered temperatures due to high vacuum capability, and efficient mass and heat transfer.
Nutsche Filter-Dryers are used for critical high purity separations of liquids and solids. The units offer capabilities for solids filtering, washing, reslurrying and drying in a single vessel, reducing process time as well as worker and environmental exposure.
They’re available in laboratory, pilot plant and production scale, in volumes from 0.2 litres to 1000 litres.
