Takeda completes acquisition and names new ceo of Nycomed

Frank Morich adds new role to his current position

Takeda Pharmaceutical Company has named Frank Morich as chief executive of Nycomed, following the completion of its €9.6bn acquisition of the firm. He adds the new role to his current position as executive vice president, International Operations (Americas/Europe) of Takeda Pharmaceuticals International.

‘I look forward to bringing Takeda and Nycomed together to ensure we can achieve enhanced revenue, growth and diversification, while maintaining the strong momentum of both companies,’ said Morich.

‘The combined company significantly broadens our coverage of the global pharmaceutical market to more than 70 countries, further strengthening our position in the industry.’
