The eight-digit "Retrace" code printed on SCHOTT DURAN laboratory glassware is designed to provide a continuous quality management record to companies and makes it possible to carry out a retrace to a particular batch or production date.
Showcased at the L.A.B exhibition in London, this latest product feature now means an individual batch certificate can be generated using the Internet by inputting the article number and retrace codes printed on the item.
Also showcased was the GLS80 - a wide-necked version of DURAN's bottles, which is said to be ideal for laboratory use where there is a requirement for emptying, sampling, filling, safekeeping, shipping, storage, transportation and hot filling.
Other showcased productsfrom the German company included multi-port cap systems for automated charging, discharging and sterile dosing, including HPLC and membrane cap for autoclaving applications.
