Dr Stefano Talami has become regional sales manager – Southern Europe and will promote the full range of Aesica contract development and manufacturing services to the pharmaceutical industry in the region.
Prior to joining Aesica, Talami was sales and marketing manager for Archimica and before that business development manager at Zambon Advanced Chemicals and Chemi SpA.
Talami will work from Aesica’s Pianezza site and takes responsibility for generating new business streams and consolidating existing client relationships across Southern Europe with a particular focus on Italy, Switzerland, Spain, Portugal, Greece and the Balkans.
Aesica Pharmaceuticals has also promoted Joe Zou, currently chief representative of its Shanghai office, to manage regional sales across Asia, particularly in China.
Joe Zou will manage regional sales across Asia
Zou has worked for Aesica since 2008, based in the company’s Shanghai office. Prior to this he worked for Whytes Chemicals as manager of its China office for nine years. He will work closely with the team at the head office in the UK, to increase Aesica’s presence in Asia, particularly in China.
