Almac adds aXcess to its suite of services
Cost-effective, configurable system complements clinical packaging and distribution bundle
Almac, a leading provider of contract services to the global Pharmaceutical and Biotech industries, recently enhanced its web-based randomisation system WebEZ, and is relauching the product under the new name, aXcess.
aXcess includes similar features along with enhanced functionality to improve the user experience. Like WebEZ, aXcess is fully configurable, can be set up very quickly, and is cost effective. Almac’s new state of the art IVR/IWR system includes key new features such as language capabilities and data integration.
According to Almac, aXcess provides a unique alternative to using paper-based or manual systems to automate patient randomisation and supply chain management for small to mid-sized studies. Almac’s intuitive and user-friendly aXcess system gives clients the full benefit of a web-based randomisation system, including state-of-the-art reporting functionalities, shorter timelines for system build, and a price point to fit tight study budgets.
‘The new IVR/IWR system, aXcess, coupled with our clinical packaging and distribution bundle gives companies who would typically utilise a paper-based approach to randomisation and supply chain management an alternative option,” says Donna Christopher, VP of Operations. “This option more effectively manages the trials our clients are conducting at a cost that works within their budgetary restrictions.
“This recently enhanced IVR/IWR system was developed to give our clients the features and functionalities they are looking for in a web-based system for the small to mid-sized studies they are conducting.”
