The complimentary event will be held at the NINE-TEN Restaurant & Bar in San Diego (CA, USA) on Wednesday 30 January from 11:00 am to 14:00.
Two of Almac’s subject matter experts, Bryan Thompson and Mark Clayton, will deliver a presentation entitled "Playing it cool – cold chain solutions for your clinical supply chain."
The presentation will examine challenges faced with a temperature controlled clinical supply chain, and aims to educate attendees on choosing appropriate packaging, labelling, storage, and distribution for temperature sensitive clinical trial materials.
Almac Clinical Services Production Manager and presentation speaker, Bryan Thompson, comments on the upcoming lunch and learn: “I am excited to be sharing my knowledge on this important topic. The primary goal of this presentation is for attendees to gain insight on how to execute their clinical trials more effectively based on a solid understanding of managing temperature controlled materials.”
With an increase in biologics and biosimilar type drugs being trialled, there is an increase in demand for cold chain management solutions to handle the packaging, labelling, storage and shipping of refrigerated and frozen product.
As industry leading experts, Almac understands the challenges faced by its customers regarding temperature control of clinical trial materials, and hopes that the information presented during this complimentary event can help to guide clinical supply professionals throughout their clinical supply journey.
Almac Group hopes that this workshop, as well as future workshops, will continue to aid customers in increasing their knowledge around global clinical trial supply services, and to provide them with additional networking opportunities.
