AMRI makes three promotions

To strengthen sales operations in US and Europe

Albany Molecular Research Inc (AMRI) has promoted Mark Sawicki to vice president of business development for Europe. Dr Sawicki was previously responsible for sales activities for AMRI discovery services in North America and Europe as senior director of business development. He joined AMRI in 2004 as director of business development.

Christopher Conway has been promoted to senior director of business development for North American Discovery Services. Prior to joining AMRI in 2008 as manager of business development, Conway held sales positions of increasing responsibility at Johnson & Johnson, culminating in the role of district manager for the firm’s Ortho-McNeil Neurologics Division.

Angie Urdanoff has moved up to senior director, sales operations. Before joining AMRI, Urdanoff worked for Pitney Bowes Business Insight as managing director of Americas sales operations. Prior to that, she was product and manufacturing manager at GE Silicones.

‘As AMRI continues to add locations and expand the breadth of its products and services, we are also increasing the scope of our sales activities with the goal of expanding our market share,’ said AMRI ceo Thomas D’Ambra.
