Anton Paar is proud to announce the expansion of its Litesizer DIA Series with the introduction of the Litesizer DIA 100 and Litesizer DIA 700. These new models are designed to meet the varying needs of research and industry professionals by offering advanced features and affordability.
The Litesizer DIA 700 builds upon the success of the Litesizer DIA 500, adding a third measurement range that enhances R&D application capabilities and supports a broader range of quality control (QC) applications. This model is poised to offer even higher customer value by providing superior performance in the detection and analysis of nano- and microparticles, including size, zeta potential, and transmittance analysis.
The Litesizer DIA 100, on the other hand, is designed as an economical version of the Litesizer DIA 500. It caters to industries where the extensive features of the DIA 500 may be unnecessary and costly. The DIA 100 offers a more affordable solution with a limited measurement range, resolution, and frame rate, making high-quality particle analysis accessible to a wider audience.
The Litesizer DIA Series is uniquely equipped for shape analysis, single-particle resolution, and can measure large particles up to 16 mm. This makes it ideal for detecting singular fine or large particles and differentiating particles according to their shapes. Potential applications include:
- Minerals and mining (sieving quality testing)
- Carbon products
- Metal powders for metals processing (excluding additive manufacturing)
- Additive manufacturing of metals
- Polymer production and processing
- Dry food and pastes
The enhanced lower size specification of the Litesizer DIA 700 opens up new market opportunities, including paints, microplastics detection, emulsions, batteries, and food and beverages.
