Basilea appoints new Chief Financial Officer

Donato Spota has over 16 years of experience as a finance professional in the industry

Swiss firm Basilea Pharmaceutica has promoted Donato Spota to Chief Financial Officer. He takes responsibility for finance, information technology, and internal services.

Spota has been Global Head of Finance and Services since February. Prior to this, he was Head of Basilea's Global Controlling since 2002.

He has over 16 years of experience as a finance professional in the pharmaceutical industry, including with F. Hoffmann-La Roche prior to joining Basilea.
