BioDuro sites recognised with EcoVadis Gold and Silver sustainability certifications

Three of the CDMO's Chinese sites have been recognised for outstanding sustainability performance, highlighting BioDuro’s commitment to sustainability and its ongoing efforts to embed environmental and social responsibility into its business operations

BioDuro has announced that its Shanghai Free Trade Zone (FTZ) site and Jiangsu site in China have each been awarded a Gold Medal in the 2025 EcoVadis business sustainability assessment for the second consecutive year, while its Beijing site received a Silver Medal.

During the past 12 months, EcoVadis recognised all three sites for outstanding sustainability performance, placing BioDuro consistently within the top 10th percentile of companies evaluated worldwide.

These results highlight BioDuro’s commitment to sustainability and ongoing efforts to embed environmental and social responsibility into its business operations.

"These awards reflect the dedication and hard work of our teams," said Dr Armin Spura, CEO of BioDuro.

"With Shanghai FTZ and Jiangsu sites achieving consecutive Gold Medals and our Beijing site earning Silver this year and through 30 years of continued innovation since our founding in 1996, we remain committed to applying ESG principles across our operations and throughout our global network of partners and suppliers."

BioDuro’s global R&D and manufacturing network integrates chemistry, biology and DMPK capabilities to accelerate programmes from preclinical research through commercial manufacturing, supporting a broad range of therapeutic areas while expanding expertise in emerging modalities such as ADCs, peptides and targeted protein degradation.
