The system, which boasts simple and intuitive software, an integrated computer control system and a 10in touch screen, allows the user to drive reactions to 300°C and up to 30 bar pressure.
The Initiator+ also offers an option for the use of a fibre optic temperature measurement device for in-situ reaction monitoring. It is upgradeable to run peptide synthesis and uses all Biotage vials, from 0.2 to 20mL, in any order or combination.
Low boiling point solvents can now be used at higher temperatures and reactions performed at maximum speed to achieve best possible yield with higher pressure, the Uppsala-based company says.
The Initiator+ also offers modular automation options.
