Buechi Labortechnik, the Swiss supplier of laboratory equipment, claims to have set new instrumentation standards with the Melting Point M-565.

When used in combination with the M-569 sample loader, the device automatically detects exact and reproducible melting and boiling points.

The instrument has a built-in digital camera that captures and saves real-time images of the samples as a video. Stored videos can be recalled and reviewed in variable speeds frame by frame up to 100x fast motion. Records can be displayed on the front panel, printed out or transferred to the optional Melting Point monitor software.

The M-565 features a large colour display and an intuitive menu guided control. Sample observation on the colour display in x6 magnification is available, as well as direct observation by the x2.5 magnifying precision lens.

A calibration and verification kit with certified standards is available for the qualification of the instrument. Two IQ/OQ packages including documentation, standards and disposables are available in five languages.
