Jay Lang becomes executive vice president
Lang has been with the Connecticut, US-based firm nearly 17 years and according to president, Charles Hinnant, in that time he has made a ‘notable contribution’ to the firm’s growth.
‘In his previous role as vice president at Charkit, he was a pivotal professional in making many of the decisions that have led to the substantial inroads we have made as a provider of innovative personal care ingredients, most recently demonstrated by our acquisition of ISI,’ Hennant said.
In his new role, Lang will play an active part in seeking new acquisitions. He will also direct new sales efforts and grow Charkit’s team of personal care experts.
Founded in 1982, Charkit Chemical Corporation offers a range of products to the imaging, personal care, food, flavour and fragrance, water treatment, metal treatment and pharmaceutical industries as well as to producers of fine and specialist chemicals.
