A Chinese pharmaceutical company has bought an NV2 automatic, self-adhesive labelling system to handle products of varying diameters.

Chengdu Ronsen Pharmaceuticals won the contract for the labelling machine from Newman and will use it alongside a Bosch cartoner for labelling of vials.

Newman won the contract due to the good level of technical support on offer, the NV2's ability to handle products with a wide range of diameters, and its price.

At Chengdu Ronsen Pharmaceuticals, the NV2 has been fitted with a barcode scanner and rotary infeed and outfeed tables.

Other options include hot foil, thermal transfer and laser printing systems, missing label detection, missing overprint detection, including OCV/OVR vision systems, and an Easisplice module to enable reel changes without labelling downtime.
