"Our objective is to solve the most difficult pharmaceutical method development, validation and remediation challenges of our customers," said Dr Bhaskar Venepalli, president of CiVentiChem.

In addition to the analytical chemistry laboratory, a new API and Intermediates pilot plant is being added in Hyderabad, India, to manufacture large volume products. This will allow CiVentiChem to serve cus-tomers" needs from r&d through to clinical development.

The plant will be run from the US and GMP certification is expected within the next two months. It will be used to manufacture products for small and medium scale projects as well as niche APIs and niche generics.

"With modern laboratories in the US and a lab and pilot plant in India, our customers have the luxury of choosing to work with us either in the US or in India based on their project needs," said Venepalli.
